Only
a few devices employ the popular USB-C interface because Apple has
traditionally used the Lightning interface in its products.
According
to recent reports, Apple will begin to widely popularize the USB-C interface
this year. Together with the next iPhone 15 series, Apple will also release the
AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C port.
In
Apple's iOS 16.4 system code, a developer has discovered an AirPods headset
with the model number A3048. This is most likely the AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C
interface, which might be released in the second quarter and second quarter of
this year when combined with earlier analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's report. Shipments
in the third quarter were very high.
All
of this is a result of a new law that the European Union has put forth, which
mandates all electronic items entering the continent in 2024 must utilize the
USB-C interface uniformly. This is one of the reasons why Apple will fully
popularize the USB-C interface this year.
Thus
it makes sense that the AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C connectivity has been
released. Ming-Chi Kuo did add, however, that Apple does not currently have any
plans to release AirPods 2 and AirPods 3 using the USB-C interface.
In
September of last year, the AirPods Pro 2 was released. The noise reduction
feature on AirPods Pro 2 has been completely upgraded over that of the original
model.
The
AirPods Pro 2 also features a new Apple H2 processor, which works with
specialized drive units and amplifiers to offer increased bandwidth and give
users a ground-breaking audio experience.
However,
while AirPods Pro 2 does support Bluetooth 5.3, it is unfortunate that the LC3
encoder and LE audio are not supported. This headset cannot provide lossless
sound quality since the existing protocol, the ACC protocol, is still
consistent with the first generation.
The
AirPods Pro 2 has an incredible computational audio technique that has doubled
noise reduction compared to the previous version because of the performance of
H2. Active noise reduction can function to reduce noise even further thanks to
the redesigned drive unit and improved acoustic algorithm.
Apple
added a fresh technique to the adaptive transparency mode. When the user
activates the adaptive transparency mode, AirPods Pro 2 may significantly
reduce the strength of high-frequency and high-decibel noise, allowing the
algorithm-filtered version of the initially loud ambient sound to penetrate the
human ear more easily. In terms of battery life, this AirPods Pro 2 can provide
up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, an increase of 6 hours
compared to the previous generation.
It
can last for a full 6 hours on single-use, which is still 6 hours of active
noise reduction. The Apple Watch charger and MagSafe wireless charging are also
supported by AirPods Pro 2.
From
a business perspective, Apple's release of the AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C
interface is a hopeless compromise. After all, the Lightning interface, which
has been in use for ten years, is extremely sound from both a business and
environmental standpoint. Apple makes a significant amount of money thanks to
the increased revenue that MFi certification brings.
Apple
will surely lose the advantages of MFi certification if it switches to the
USB-C interface this time, but there are also rumors that Apple will use MFi
certification in USB-C. I think Apple will draw a lot of customers once it
makes this change. vocal rebuke.
